Matthew Bush, PhD, MaT is a fully licensed psychologist with Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services and is honored to serve as the current Director of Grace Place. His doctorate in clinical psychology and master's in theology were both earned at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, Ca. Dr. Bush has been married since 1995 and has two wonderful children.
Dr. Bush key interests at Grace Place include working with strengthening marriages and families. "All families need to work to create a family identity that stands together and is centered on Christ. Being a Christian family or marriage must become the center of our being, so that every member of the family knows they are, what they stand for, and is motivated to live out the example of Christ's sacrificial love for others. The character of such a family is one where everyone is heard, nurtured, and loved; and where the members deeply, sincerely and genuinely enjoy being together. In the face of a culture that places individual freedom and immediate gratification as vital priorities, we need to create a 'we' mentality where children know that life's questions and challenges are worked on together, emerging from a basis of our shared beliefs and values with Christ at our core."
"Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
(Romans 12:1-2, NIV)
"The greatest discovery of any generation is that a human being can alter their life by altering their attitude."

John Hutt, D.Min., BCC
is a bilingual pastor, preacher, teacher, CPE trained chaplain and pastoral counselor with extensive experience in a variety of cultural contexts. Rev. Hutt is married and the father of 4 grown children. He and his wife, Elaine, enjoy spending time with their 4 granddaughters.
''All humans, regardless of race, color, gender or economic class, are created in the image of God and, therefore are to be valued and respected. We live in a fallen world with the tragic and sometimes devastating effects of sin in our lives. Hope and healing can come only if our lives are restored physically, emotionally and spiritually. To that end I have incorporated the seven biblical ''Steps to Freedom in Christ'' and healing and deliverance prayers into my counseling sessions.

“We all face struggles or trials at some point in our lives. Having someone to come alongside and listen with care and empathy can provide comfort and encouragement. It is a blessing, as a counselor, to pour Biblical truths into the lives of those who need to hear God’s voice”
Ecclesiastes 3:1, 4: “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven; a time to weep, and a time to laugh, a time to mourn, and a time to dance.”
