Prayer Ministries

“I urge, therefore, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone.  This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all persons to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.”
I Timothy 2:1, 3-4

The vision for our prayer ministry is that Providence Church will become a house of prayer.  In order to accomplish this we support the following prayer ministries:

Worship Service Intercessors
Gifted and committed persons who storm the gates of heaven with the needs and concerns of God's people

Prayer Chain  Prayer partners who are available to pray for urgent needs

Prayer Warriors
Men and women of prayer who commit to pray one day each month for our church ministry and leaders

Worship Service Intercessors
Pray through the worship services for the leaders and worshippers

Healing Prayer Ministry
Prayer partners who are available after the worship services to pray for those with special concerns

Providence Prayer Line (616.393.PRAY)
Prayer requests can be called into the prayer line at any time or emailed to the Deacon of Prayer

Prayer Room

The Prayer Room is located in Grace Place and is open during the day for anyone who desires to spend time alone with God.

”I pray also for those who will believe in me...that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you.”
John 17:20-21
